  • Normally images like these made me think of Elodie comforting a sad, post-war Astor? But now they also make me think of like, teenage Adoption AU Astor going through growing-pains and Marigold comforting him.

  • IDK this gives me “late night, after going out to drink, hanging out on some rooftop that Astor carried her up to, sitting beside him and thinking about how they’ll always be best friends” feels for young Astor / Marigold in Professor Astor AU.

  • I have this idea in my head about like…how the Aevum students must always catch these brief glimpses of Elodie and Astor? Zipping as he carries her off to some secluded place. Hearing the briefest of giggles and chuckles, soft purrs. So confused about this mismatched couple.

  • I like the idea of Lord Death giving elodie life like this. Drawing it from his own veins and pouring it into a flower, which she then smells and draws life into herself. (That and by kissing her 8D )

  • This guy’s faces always remind me of Adoption AU Astor being sassy @ someone and then kinda glancing over to Marigold to make sure he isn’t in trouble yet.

  • :c Elodie is gonna be so confused/mixed up when she feels jealousy and sadness that The Dark One called upon another maiden. Do you think he’d be able to sense her darker feelings from where he is?

  • Elodie is so so so so hesitant to leave after that first night in Professor Astor AU. :c If only she’d somehow dodged the dinner, she thinks later, then maybe things wouldn’t have turned out so awful.

  • After Astor sets a pregnant Elodie free in the Original Offering AU? When she needs a little bit of strength she’d find herself just on the cusp of whispering his name. But when she finally does call him, as the babies come, it’d be such a soft little whisper – but so…meaningful.

  • I knew there was no bottom to the Darkling’s pain. He would just keep falling and falling.

I keep imagining Elodie having a thought like this about Lord Death / The Dark One? And it’s part of why she falls for him or decides to stay. Because his world is nothing but darkness and while he may be content with that, she knows he deserves more; that he deserves some happiness.

I like this picture because this is the kind of Marigold that Astor would have known in Professor Astor AU. Kind of waiflike and a bit eccentric. Very beautiful, of course, but a bit out of this world. She settles down so perfectly as she grows but when she’s young it’s like she doesn’t know where to put all that energy into just yet (it goes into being a good mother, into helping others etc when she’s older.) So she’s a bit of a wild child at that age and Astor’s her perfect partner in crime.
