  • Dark One Astor seeing how Little Witch Elodie longs to learn and grow her magic, how she’ll be an eager and true pupil, how she bears the same possibility of greatness that exists in him. Finally~ Someone worth his time.

  • This gives me such What If AU feels? Like, Elodie being like this whenever Astor starts to get flirty in bed? How shy and bashful she is (before she totally gives in.)

  • Sometimes I feel like, in a different world or maybe in that old AU of Aevum where Elotor doesn’t happen UNTIL the second war? (Or maybe just KoD) … Like if he’d been evil enough, Astor might have crushed every other place Elodie had to go to until she had no choice but to stay with him, so that she could be in his arms always? Even if it cost her friends and family?

  • Sometimes I have one of those really simple mental images; specifically one where like…Astor glances at Elodie right as she’s laughing at one of his jokes? And he gets caught off-guard by how pretty she looks, how her hair shaking smells good in the air and how he adores the little wrinkle in her nose, the sound of her giggle. IDK I really like the thought, sob.

  • Applicable to anything really but anytime Astor leaves Elodie like a secret little gift? She’d hold it and hug it FOR A WHILE before even opening because HOW THOUGHTFUL!!! 

    But it’s especially relevant for the GoTs I think? Like esp regular GoT because it indicates their growing relationship. Or even GoT Adoption because like…can you imagine? He leaves her a pretty little trinket and the other ladies are staring but she can’t help herself she’s just hugging it to her chest so happy. It’s like a nice little necklace or some earrings and the next time Astor sees her she’s wearing them and blushing. 

  • King Astor visiting his human prisoner in Captured Princess? Gets struck by the look she gives him, by how lovely she is and elegant and graceful and wanting nothing more than to PRESS HER BACK DOWN INTO THAT BED?

    Sometimes I think about the feasibility of King Percival wanting to allow Elodie to marry whomever she chooses. Particularly in Captured Prince and Captured Princess where the war is still going on? Letting her marry a human knight might boost morale, but it’ll put them in a tough position if the shedim decide to band together. 

    (In regular GoT it’s less relevant, because several of his lords and ladies have married into the other groups and so he has ties that way.) 

    And while I don’t think Elodie would be TOTALLY THRILLED to do it nor fully opposed, I imagine her sometimes getting frustrated that so many men contend for her and at the end of the day her opinion of whom she may marry is the least relevant influencing factor. 

    In Captured Prince she’d totally confide to Astor about this. And he’d see firsthand how they treat her, well or poorly – as if she’s made of glass or trying to romance her. The contemplative, brooding vampire can only look more and more appealing by comparison.

  • I like that this dichotomy exists so much, especially in GoT or ALTERNA-GoT where she’s his wife and a queen, a woman by all means. But she has all these girlish little gestures and is so sweet~ 

  • I can’t help but imagine like Elodie getting weak after a rage or something? And Cal hears about it, rushes over to try to help her? But Astor’s already there and has clearly calmed her down and is just cradling her gently while Cal stands uncertainly in the doorway.
