  • Maybe King Astor offers to bring Princess Elodie to some place or another and catches her in the middle of playing a pretty, soothing song? Something soft and gentler on his ears than all the other crap he’s had to listen to?

  • Very much what GoT Cal’s game is, telling her stuff like this?

  • Thinking about his perplexing Queen during a meeting with Advisors

  • Aevum (or GoT) Astor trying to WORK UP THE COURAGE to confess, to tell her he loves her but instead he totally wimps out. ./Meanwhile Elodie is left to process her racing heart and the odd feeling of disappointment.

  • Queen Elodie getting a letter (strangely, right after the arrival of her new human Head of Guard, Sir Valerian.)

  • More of those scenes we were talking about earlier, where King Percival walks in on Queen Elodie and King Astor being all cutely affectionate? (Except I think maybe Astor wouldn’t stop ./SHOT)

  • Your Anger Is My Own | Part 2

King Astor does his best to play it cool at an especially frustrating meeting, for his wife’s sake. But his calm only lasts until he is alone in his suite, at which point his frustrations boil over. Having noticed something was amiss, Queen Elodie follows the sounds of things being tipped over and smashed and stumbles upon her irate husband. Frightened, but determined to soothe him – she reminds him that his anger is now also her own. And that he should not suffer anything alone.

Oddly moved by the gesture, King Astor finds the one thing that calms him best.
