  • Obviously her outfit doesn’t fit the situation but it makes me think of GoT Astor like, stopping Elodie just as she’s about to retire to her own bedroom and asking her to stay? The minuscule squeeze of his hand on her shoulder telling her that he actually means it? 

  • His expression with everyone else (and how she looks at him) vs His expression with her (and how she reacts!)

  • Princess Marigold gets formally presented to “The King” on some random holiday or whatever? Poor girl was probably nervous right before too, afraid she’d trip or mess up her curtsy and then Astor just invites her to sit on his lap? c:
