How can I prove to you that I’m with you, except to ask you not to die?
In GoT? Or AU GOT? I feel like sometimes Astor might have moments of doubting whether Elodie cares about his returning safely. Maybe not once the kids are born and such, but while they’re still feeling out each other’s sentiments? But every time he goes off to battle or something Elodie will always be like…up that night, by his bed. She might say something or do something very similar to this? Because … like… fjdsl;kajf;a SO MANY QUESTIONS.
1. I don’t really know what would happen to Elodie if Astor were to die. Would they want her to marry the next king to maintain the peace? Just send her back and cancel the treaty? Kill her?
2. Either way I ASSUME that the chances are greater that she would be fine. And that being the case she has no reason to really care about his well-being in a battle. But she does. How would Astor feel about that?
