  • How Open/Honest is Astor about his…need to keep Elodie safe BEFORE he’s confessed his feelings to her?

  • When Lady Marigold has to leave her son Astor in King Percival’s care for a brief time? :c The goodbye scene will be so painful tbh.

  • I like this edit. It reminded me of Captured Prince AU. And how – even once he’s started having smidgens of feelings for Elodie? Astor will have to cope with the sense that he’s not good enough for her because of his lost title/honor. Esp with moments where Elodie, being good hearted and kind of naive to certain things? Might receive gifts from potential suitors and fancy them (the gifts) – accidentally implying she likes the men in question and setting herself up as a fox to be hunted. And to look (in Astor’s eyes) like she’s slipping further away from him.

  • This seems like something Marigold would say about Elodie and Astor sometime right before her unfortunate death.

  • Simple pic but just thinking about it. How pale Elodie’s skin would get. How the fabric is PRECISELY what Astor would have in his bed in Offering or GoT or Bloodbag. And how this is the sort of teasing way she’d drape it over herself for him to pull off.

  • This applies to so many characters TBH? But I immediately think of either 1. Demon Hunter Marigold in Little Witch AU, telling Elodie about how she’s been sheltered for her own protection? or 2. Astor protecting …. anyone really. Like he does this. He tries to shelter the people he loves from the darkness of the world. Either Elodie in Aevum, or Little M or even Marigold in like uh…Accidental Revolution/GoT Adoption?

  • INFORMATION ABOUT VAMPIRE KINGDOM CROWNS PLZ? (Not just the circlets.) Like is there an ANCIENT ONE HANDED DOWN? Or does every king get their own? Do the queens?

Imagining Astor laying there on his back, staring up at the stars – little suns that he rules over. ./ALSO IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE HE’S A MUCH MORE POWERFUL GOD THAN CAL BECAUSE ASTOR RULES OVER A SKY FILLED WITH BILLIONS OF SUNS JUST SAYING.

  • Her face and conviction gives me so many Marigold-talking-to-her-adopted-son-Astor feels. In GoT or regular. Especially when he’s going through growing pains and is maybe not entirely himself?

    I wonder sometimes if he might feel bad, putting his mum through all this. If he might think about leaving / running away to make it easier for her. And if she were to catch him preparing or hear him say something to that effect?
