CAME UP WITH A WHOLE DAYDREAM like, King Astor is getting fitted for some outfit and the tailor pisses him off for being inept and Elodie walks up and like helps the tailor by taking the measurements and pinning the cloth herself. Astor makes some idle comment about how he doesn’t like this particular style or whatever and Elodie murmurs that he looks handsome no matter what he wears (hence the grinning from him.)?

It could be war Elodie OR it could be like… Little M running off to pout in a nearby forest after someone doesn’t give her permission for something? And like at first Elodie suggests they let her sulk but it starts raining or it gets late or both and of course Astor zips off with an umbrella and a coat to rescue his little girl? And when he shows up she like throws her arms around him and sobs that she was worried he wasn’t going to come for her. ; u ;
DAYDREAM DAYDREAM OF like Postwar, Astor’s been working all day and he and Elodie agreed to meet somewhere for dinner or whatever? And something reminded him of his war guilt so when he shows up he’s trying to look his normal self but Elodie picks up on something being wrong RIGHT AWAY and she runs to him and gives him this little hug like :c
Can’t you just imagine Little Marigold making flower wreaths and presenting them to Astor for him to wear? And it’s not like he can say no so every time she comes back with another he puts them on and by the time Elodie gets home he has like four wreaths on his head all, “Don’t ask.”
Aww! Little M and Astor go on milkshake dates starting when they’re little and even after she’s all grown up? But can you imagine her like….first she’s too teeny to sit on the stool so Astor has to hold her in his lap? And then later on she gets big enough for her own stool but her feet dangle like two feet off the ground; and he has to help her get down?

Cries. I just realized that even though Bryce and Little M are super slender, babies naturally have the pudgy stomach thing going on and they’re going to be so ticklish; having inherited their father’s sensitivity. Like Elodie’s belly-kissing the kids and Astor’s just like <__< Why do you do that? And then he tries it and enjoys making them giggle ./THE END</p>

“Mmm?” – Astor
“Did you fall in love with mom at first sight?” – Child
“…No…She crept up on me. ~grins~” -Astor
“Hey! I heard that.” – Elodie
“Wait! Astor! No!” ~slams door back shut~ “You /can’t/ come in!”
“…Why not?”
“Because! It’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!”
“…Don’t be ridiculous Elodie. I have seen you many times before.”
“I meant IN my wedding dress, Astor!”
