  • Astor accidentally kisses PISSES AND ALWAYS SAID PISSES off pregnant Elodie? She huffs and says she’ll WALK home.

  • This totally reminds me of that one daydream you’d had where he is hungry but not for teacup blood? >O>;;;

  • More sad checks during the war training for like…weakness? Poorly formed muscles or whatever? Being rigorously inspected and such to make sure you’re worthy of being a commander? And then that awkward painful pause where they inspect the part of his head that Reggie scalped?

  • “You think you’ve got him snared, don’t you, little queen?”

    “L…lady Vittoria, if you would please be so kind I would appreciate…”

    “I don’t care what you appreciate, you ninny. I am here to make one thing clear to you: he may pay you some attention now but he will tire of you, as he has with all the others. The king is my prize and you will not snatch him from me.” ./Glances up and down “Not with what you have. Not ever. It’s me he’ll come to. Every time. In fact, he’s sent for me right now. I’d better not leave him waiting…Good day, my queen." 

  • 1. Look at how long the nails are. Not claw length by any means but pretty long. 2. I have been having a daydream lately where Astor totally has figured out how to do the button thing but pretends not to because he enjoys having Elodie do it for him. Elodie, meanwhile, has figured out Astor has figured it out and doesn’t call him on it because she enjoys doing it. .The dorks.

  • I like this cute, girlish little excited smile she does upon seeing him? I feel like anytime that Astor shows up to Elodie’s dorm door, visits her in the office in postwar Aevum, or sweeps into her suite in GoT? She’ll have this flurttery, brief/nervous/giddy smile moment and Astor will be able to see just how he makes her feel in that simple gesture.

  • So I can totally imagine like, as Astor’s getting more curious about Elodie? He slips into her room and contemplates her as she sleeps but one day she wakes suddenly and like catches a glimpse of his BLOOD RED EYES in the dark and screams (he totally POOFS of course like, zips out of there so fast!) She, naturally, dismisses it as a dream.

  • IDK why this made me think of like, something random where in the future of Aevum they finally invent a sunscreen that can (briefly) let vampires pass through sun? So he and Elodie and the kids all sit out and picnic in the tree one early morning and Astor gets to see his first sunrise? His family is happily buzzing around him, Elodie snuggled into his side. They’re at peace.

  • Makes me imagine a scenario where either Aevum or GoT Astor have had cause to horribly attack someone? And the two of them are just sitting there, side by side. Astor has all sorts of blood on his shirt and face and is staring down at his lap while Elodie struggles to think of non-offensive ways to talk about “carnage.” The two of them just awkwardly look up at each other at the exact same time and it’s a great ./we’re really different :C moment until Elodie offers to help Astor clean up; acting like it’s NBD.
