    “Perhaps you should not drink from a cup, Sire…”

    “You could drink from me.”

    I know I already shared the daydream with you but: VISUALS.

  • This made me think of the surprise you wrote where toddler-sized Little M runs towards him? And then having her dash for him the same way over and over through the years, each time looking a little older? 

  • Elodie offers to draw a bath for exhausted post war Astor and when he arrives he finds she’s decided to join him? 

  • Some visiting diplomat manages to see Elodie alone while visiting the vampire kingdom? Grabs her by the arm and apologizes that she had to marry “such a person?” And she turns around all offended, “Such a person? Sir, my husband is my -favorite- person. The very best person.”

  • Obviously her outfit doesn’t fit the situation but it makes me think of GoT Astor like, stopping Elodie just as she’s about to retire to her own bedroom and asking her to stay? The minuscule squeeze of his hand on her shoulder telling her that he actually means it? 

  • :c I saw this and imagined Astor’s first human style bath? Like somehow figuring out where and how to take one before he gets to Aevum because he doesn’t want to show up all grimy? Or even just taking one in the dorms for the first time and seeing all the dirt get washed off and how murky the water is? jfdlk;saj sobs.

  • I had such a sad drowsy daydream about this image. No! Scratch that! It wasn’t sad! It was just powerful. It was after they’d gotten together as an official couple (Aevum Universe) and they’d been given a rough time in the village, by a bunch of people. And they did the fierce/proud hand holding thing you mentioned? And as they were headed back to Aevum they turned around and the village stretched out before them, like this huge representation of THE WORLD that was going to give their relationship every test of strength it could? And rather than feeling afraid Elodie just squeezed Astor’s hand, smiled and kissed him on the cheek. Because there was no way she was going to let the piddly little world take him away from her.
