  • Did I ever tell you the daydream I had in addition to the one where Berk kidnaps Astor in Adoption AU? Where when she’s demanding that he let Astor go, Berk approaches her slowly (his defenses down, as we discussed) but this time he ACTUALLY TRIED TO KISS HER to convince her and that was when she managed to get whatever weapon she brought held up to him like right before the kiss she pulled it out. : / But ew Berk forcing kisses.

  • OMG it just occurred to me that after their breakup and once he hears that Marigold is with Percival? Even before it’s romantic? He probably writes her a bunch of letters. Nice ones at first, begging her to come back? And then like INCREASINGLY THREATENING AND CRUEL ONES. Ruthlessly reminding her that he won’t stop trying to “cure her” (and thus hurt children). AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN WHAT IF when Astor is visiting she sends him to fetch something from her desk and he finds them and sees how vicious Berk was to Marigold and just like WANTS TO RIP HIS THROAT OUT next time he sees them. (But doesn’t of course. Because jail.)

  • Piggybacking off that one daydream you shared but taking it to a TOTALLY INSANE TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE BUT STILL COOL ENOUGH TO SHARE place:

    In Adoption AU, somehow Berkovic manages to spirit away a drugged Astor. Takes him to his last lab that is being maintained by anti-shedim people for experimentation, maybe just to slice him up and study him. Once Marigold comes to and finds out where they’re keeping Astor she just charges in to get her boy back. I MEAN OF COURSE SHE CALLED THE POLICE AND STUFF but she wasn’t going to wait for them she just charges in all beautiful and seemingly helpless and kicks BUTT AFTER BUTT until the very end where she threatens berk himself with the nail gun until he agrees to lead her to where Astor is. 

    I KNOW IT’S DUMB BUT I LIKE MARIGOLD KICKING BUTT TOO. Oh but poor Astor, waking up strapped to an experimental table in a bright room where the lights are always on so he can’t sleep? Wondering where his mum is until he spots her bursting through the double doors.

  • The (very serious but very pleased to be dancing with a pretty blonde) facial expressions remind me of Astor having a little spin with Elodie AND of young Berk and Marigold.

  • More getting into trouble with Berk? xD Like he rambles on and Astor says something clever alluding to Berk’s failure with Marigold and they both just burst out laughing.
