Okay so I totally had a daydream that, on YET ANOTHER human kingdom ball (why must they have so many, Astor probably wonders)? Elodie is bored, Astor is bored. They’re both just dying of boredom, having to smile politely and put up with all these comments? So Elodie manages enough of a moment with Astor to tell him to go to x place when she asks him if he would be so kind as to fetch (some random object that she “forgot”.) She probably sends him to like idk a pretty lake with a rowboat. He goes, and after a brief period (so that it’s not too obvious that they’re sneaking) she DASHES OFF in her pretty ball gown after him. Shows up all breathless, her hair fallen out of place. Giggles for him to get in the rowboat and CLUMSILY tries to row them out before Astor takes the oars and does so. And they spend the evening out on the water, talking and laughing about having to put a lake between them and lord whatever just to get away. Her pretty blue eyes sparkling in the starlight, Astor totally dark and mysterious in his element. Eh? EH?!
