I liked this as a moment they might have early on in their marriage, in GoT. Like he’s lounging, probably bored or broody and Elodie happens upon him. Softly, shyly (and at a distance) she inquires as to his day, makes small talk but is visibly very nervous? And then he says something that’s a little warm, or maybe makes her want to comfort him. But just as she begins to work up the courage to approach him an advisor comes in and interrupts them – and she immediately steps back.
