  • This scene made me YEARN for the GoT scene where Astor’s been poisoned. Because you know she’ll fall asleep by his side and you KNOW he’ll feel bad and try to get her to crawl in (which she’ll half do herself in her sleep.) When she wakes up it’ll be so nice that she’ll just try to fake not having woken up to extend the moment because she’s falling for him? Meanwhile Astor (totally aware) feels her snuggle in closer and just pats her head because she’s warm and soft and has been caring for him ; u ; 

  • “You think you’ve got him snared, don’t you, little queen?”

    “L…lady Vittoria, if you would please be so kind I would appreciate…”

    “I don’t care what you appreciate, you ninny. I am here to make one thing clear to you: he may pay you some attention now but he will tire of you, as he has with all the others. The king is my prize and you will not snatch him from me.” ./Glances up and down “Not with what you have. Not ever. It’s me he’ll come to. Every time. In fact, he’s sent for me right now. I’d better not leave him waiting…Good day, my queen." 

  • I like this cute, girlish little excited smile she does upon seeing him? I feel like anytime that Astor shows up to Elodie’s dorm door, visits her in the office in postwar Aevum, or sweeps into her suite in GoT? She’ll have this flurttery, brief/nervous/giddy smile moment and Astor will be able to see just how he makes her feel in that simple gesture.

  • IDK why this made me think of like, something random where in the future of Aevum they finally invent a sunscreen that can (briefly) let vampires pass through sun? So he and Elodie and the kids all sit out and picnic in the tree one early morning and Astor gets to see his first sunrise? His family is happily buzzing around him, Elodie snuggled into his side. They’re at peace.

  • Lady Vittoria’s Throne Scene

  • Makes me imagine a scenario where either Aevum or GoT Astor have had cause to horribly attack someone? And the two of them are just sitting there, side by side. Astor has all sorts of blood on his shirt and face and is staring down at his lap while Elodie struggles to think of non-offensive ways to talk about “carnage.” The two of them just awkwardly look up at each other at the exact same time and it’s a great ./we’re really different :C moment until Elodie offers to help Astor clean up; acting like it’s NBD.

  • I have no idea how this would come about but now I have this headcanon of GoT Gideon telling Astor that he has to listen to what Elodie says and her expression etc to sense what she’s “feeling?” And for one reason or another Astor makes Elodie REALLY angry. Angry enough for her to insult him or shove him, idk. Maybe he does something stupid and reckless and she’s upset at him. And he’s like ./I THINK I GOT IT THIS TIME ./SHE’S ANGRY ./PRETTY SURE

  • So little moments like this, where Astor is walking down the street and for whatever reason war-guilt hits him? And naturally he probably tries to be strong for a while but eventually calls Elodie, just hoping to catch her voicemail and hear her voice. She picks up and he greets her – she immediately asks him if everything is all right. Regardless of whether or not he admits it she soothes him over the phone while simultaneously leaving the offices so that by the time he gets home, she’ll be there waiting for him with a hug. :c

  • Do you ever think about the like really little moments? Like Astor under the umbrella, staring down at Little Marigold; chubby, her little nose dotted with sunscreen, floppy hat falling into her eyes and she’s just lost as she lets sand fall between her cute little fingertips. Suddenly she remembers he’s right beside her and shows him the wad of sand in her palm with a happy grin and goes right back to playing happily – totally oblivious to the fact that everyone else is staring at the giant vampire looming over this precious girl with round cheeks and sparkling eyes? ./BECAUSE I DO
