IDK why this made me think of like, something random where in the future of Aevum they finally invent a sunscreen that can (briefly) let vampires pass through sun? So he and Elodie and the kids all sit out and picnic in the tree one early morning and Astor gets to see his first sunrise? His family is happily buzzing around him, Elodie snuggled into his side. They’re at peace.
