I have to wonder if Astor has ever gotten to see a big, developed, human city without the background of war? Like, with the lights and the buzzing and everything? Did he attack big cities or like the villages where people hid and soldiers stayed (trying to keep the vamps from the more populated areas by luring them to remote areas?) And if he hasn’t, then this make me think of them sneaking out so he can see one for the first time?
