I like the idea of post-war Elodie asking Astor for this, before they are close enough to be intimate again? And it’s totally innocently? But his hands linger a little, her breath catches, she shudders – it’s a slip of a moment in the middle of all this tension and nothing -happens- you know but they both get this small reassurance that there’s still an attraction there. (It could also happen in GoT which would be even MORE tensiony since you know xD there’s the additional element of them not having slept together yet. But it’d be laces not zipper.)
