Recently arrived, Queen Elodie goes to her suites but is intercepted by Lord Gideon. Before she enters her rooms, he warns her that the King’s mistress was seen heading in the same direction and asks if she’s prepared. Elodie assures him that she is but when all the other ladies bow at Lady V’s entrance a nervous queen Elodie can’t help but do the same. Slowly, Lady Vittoria approaches the small blonde and sighs, “You must be our new queen."
"Yes.” Elodie answers softly. “I am.”
