I know I said Marigold gave her their number in case Elodie needed anything but now I’m picturing like… Marigold quietly asking Elodie if she doesn’t want to come with them. It’s safer, calmer, they can protect her? And this is BEFORE Astor and Elodie have an established romantic thing so it SHOULD BE the most tempting offer in the world? But Elodie just like smiles – maybe a bit sad because she’s starting to have feels for Astor that she feels are unrequited and she’s giving up a FAMILY just to be with him – and says that no, thank you. Because “My home is wherever he is.”

  • I’M DYING OVER HOW MUCH THIS MAKES ME THINK OF THAT AU WHERE HE CAPTURES LABLODIE AND KEEPS HER AS HIS “CAPTIVE?” The times he has to leave her to go off and fight for his race and her just curling up under the coat he leaves with her and crying. Him coming back and seeing the tear stains on her cheeks? And her like NOT HAVING MOVED AT ALL EVEN A LITTLE from the spot where he left her because what if he comes back and she’s gone to eat or drink and isn’t there?
