My headcanon is that sassy Delilah would say this to KoD Astor when he starts to feel Elodie pulling away from her. Because even if she’s still undercover and not telling him she’s Jennings, she still can’t let him muck up.
IDK like Marigold confronting Astor about why he let her go off with Cal? Or maybe Lucy? Kind of Thomas Universy IT’S JUST FEELS.
I feel like Delilah/Jennings and Astor are going to have a lot of serious talks post-war, before he finally mans up and goes to see Elodie.
I can totes see Jennings saying this to Astor in jail. Or even Delilah to Astor during the war all U STUPID BOY.
Now i’m just picturing Jennings taking Elodie and Astor out somewhere. Probably with Berk in the front too.
“KNOCK IT OFF THERE YOU TWO. THAT’S REAL LEATHER.”
Delilah/Jennings is going to need her own tag if this keeps up. But I can see this conversation happening between Jennings and Astor. Especially when she talks to him post-Darcy’s little “Oh look at the happy sunshine couple over there!” speech.
