Brooding somewhere outside his castle or in his domain, tired or whatever? And he catches the sweetest scent ever; Elodie walking around his dark gardens. She’s just taking it all in, the mystery and the beauty. She’s clearly dismissed her guards and her scent is attracting the attention of other nobles walking around, or the creatures of death in Lord Death. Astor himself pauses for a moment to smell her scent in the air. Maybe he notices the vampires/creatures of death about to approach her? Maybe he simply doesn’t like the concept of her walking alone and unguarded. But he GLIDES over silent and fast, and just kind of slips his arm under hers to support it. With a low purr he points out how irresistible she is to his people and that it takes a great deal of effort to keep her safe, so she shouldn’t go out alone.
