I had a blippy daydream of like… Elodie and Astor having a thoroughly exhausting day? The kids had tons of things to do and were needy, various UN meetings, Astor’s deadline got pushed up and they had to go to some fancy dinner? So they get home, super late. Astor’s brushing his teeth while Elodie slips out of her dress to get ready for bed… But by the time he’s done and steps out he sees her basically passed out on the foot of their bed, still in her slip, mumbling about getting up “in a minute.” He just kinda chuckles and carries her into bed and tucks her in and they fall asleep, peaceful and sweet.
