First I obviously thought of Astor giving Elodie flowers? But then I imagined like a baby Astor in Adoption AU picking flowers for his mum in the school garden but seeing the other boys and girls giving their moms like fancy teddy bears or whatever that their dads buy for them to give. And suddenly his flowers don’t feel like enough.
Her face and conviction gives me so many Marigold-talking-to-her-adopted-son-Astor feels. In GoT or regular. Especially when he’s going through growing pains and is maybe not entirely himself?
I wonder sometimes if he might feel bad, putting his mum through all this. If he might think about leaving / running away to make it easier for her. And if she were to catch him preparing or hear him say something to that effect?
