That month she spends with him after the sick scene is going to be really rough. She’ll be so torn between allowing herself to live their little fantasy happy life and wanting to help end the war and get him back on the right track. It’ll be what tests her resolve and her limits the most. While, to Astor, it seems like a betrayal that she leaves him it’s really for his sake. Even while they are happy she sees what a corrupting influence Darcy is having and she wants to help him see the error of his ways – even if that means giving him up as hers. :C
