I think I wrote this for you in a blurb form once. Basically it was Gideon meeting with Elodie and asking her how she was doing, after the war. She hadn’t known he was on their side and he (as I made it clear in my last surprise) hadn’t realized they were still mated. But in a way they are two halves of the same coin, they both lost their mates (he ends up mated to Vittoria but she goes to jail too.) I can see them having a moment like this. At least Gideon knows Vittoria and he will be back together soon. But Elodie knows the mark is fading and in my head at that point had no longer even been visiting Astor in jail. Their expressions in this are perfect. They are exactly what i’d thought of and yeah. Sad. ./Dies
